We are thrilled to announce that our founder, Dr. Diana Armstrong, PhD, R.Psych., has been recognized as one of Edify Edmonton’s Top 40 Under 40 for 2025!

Edify Edmonton’s annual Top 40 Under 40 celebrates individuals who are redefining what’s possible in our community. This year, Dr. Armstrong is honoured for her compassion, vision, and leadership in expanding access to high-quality, evidence-based mental-health care across Alberta.

About Dr. Armstrong

Dr. Armstrong is the founder and director of the Centre for Dynamic Mental Health (CDMH) in Edmonton. Growing up in rural southern Alberta, she witnessed firsthand the challenges many communities face in accessing mental-health and addiction services, inspiring her to pursue a PhD in Counselling Psychology and dedicate her career to improving care for Albertans.

At CDMH, Dr. Armstrong leads a team providing specialized, intensive, evidence-based psychological care for clients of all ages. She personally works with adults, helping them navigate complex mental-health challenges, rebuild connection, and achieve meaningful recovery. Beyond symptom management, her approach focuses on addressing the core of problematic symptoms and empowers clients to find greater freedom and meaning in their lives. Under Dr. Armstrong’s leadership, CDMH has become a hub of compassionate, personalized, high-quality mental-health care, providing accessible and effective treatment to individuals across Alberta.
